Measured, Not Merely Claimed
Independent laboratory testing of Mivaan Farm Shatavari samples has reported total saponin results of up to 38%. Our two testing partners reported different results — 23% and 38% — because saponin content varies by sample condition and lab method. We publish both figures rather than the higher one alone .

Process
From Farm to Finished Shatavari
Every batch of Mivaan Farm Shatavari begins on our certified organic farm in Gujarat. We oversee cultivation, harvesting, and primary processing using documented procedures designed to maintain quality, consistency, and batch traceability.
01. Cultivation
The naturally brown appearance of our finished Shatavari roots develops through traditional processing and natural sun-drying. We do not use artificial whitening treatments or bleaching agents to alter their natural colour. Quality is verified through documented processing, batch traceability, and independent laboratory testing—not colour alone.
02. Harvesting
03. Washing
Shatavari is cultivated on our certified organic farm using responsible soil and crop management practices.
Mature roots are carefully uprooted from the field by hand.
Freshly harvested roots are thoroughly washed to remove soil and field residue.

04. Traditional Heat Processing
Roots undergo traditional cloth-based heat processing before peeling and drying.

05. Peeling
The outer layer and central fiber are carefully removed as required.

Roots are naturally sun-dried using traditional methods until the desired moisture level is achieved.
06. Sun Drying

07. Packaging
Finished material is documented, identified, and prepared for customer-specific requirements.

Naturally Processed. Never Artificially Whitened

Why we Started Mivaan Organic Farm.
Our family's roots are in farming, but the three of us built our education and careers in cities and abroad before choosing to return to the land. We came back with a simple question:

Could we build the kind of organic farm we wished existed?
Before planting our first commercial crop, we spent years learning from experienced farmers and organic agriculture experts. We studied soil health, composting, crop rotation, and sustainable farming because we believed a strong farm begins with knowledge, not shortcuts.
Mivaan Farm was never meant to grow just one crop. Our vision has always been to build a certified organic farm where healthy soil, transparency, and continuous learning guide everything we do. Today, Shatavari is our primary crop, alongside other organically grown crops, with more planned as the farm continues to evolve.
We are building Mivaan Farm one season at a time,
with patience, transparency, continuous learning, and respect for the land.

Growing Together
We believe good farming should never be kept to ourselves. Mivaan Farm regularly welcomes farmers, agricultural professionals, and local communities to learn about composting, organic farming, soil health, and sustainable agricultural practices. These visits create opportunities to exchange ideas, learn from one another, and strengthen the farming community together.

"A healthy harvest doesn't happen by chance. It is the result of thousands of small decisions made every day."
Navin is happiest in the field. An entrepreneur by background, he brings a practical and innovative mindset to farming. At Mivaan Farm, he oversees crop planning, cultivation, harvest, and primary processing while continuously improving farming practices through observation, experience, and learning. He believes healthy soil is the foundation of healthy crops and that patience, consistency, and respect for nature produce the best results.

"Quality isn't created in a laboratory. It begins with every decision made in the field."
Dipali believes great farming is built on healthy soil, clean water, and strong systems. Alongside her work at Mivaan Farm, she has spent more than a decade in the environmental sector, specializing in water quality engineering, groundwater, stormwater management, and environmental policy. She earned a master degree in Water Quality Engineering from the University of Southern California, where she developed a science-based approach to protecting natural resources. At Mivaan Farm, she applies that experience to organic certification, quality systems, documentation, and continuous improvement. For Dipali, every certification, record, and process is part of a larger promise—to give customers confidence in how their crops are grown and handled.
"People don't just buy ingredients. They buy confidence in the people behind them."
Minal believes the best business relationships begin with trust. Alongside her role at Mivaan Farm, she continues to work in finance, operations, supply chain, and international business. Her experience working with businesses and managing complex operations helps her understand what professional buyers expect from a supplier—clear communication, reliable documentation, and long-term relationships. At Mivaan Farm, she focuses on connecting customers directly with the farm, helping them understand not only what they are buying, but also the people, values, and farming practices behind every harvest.
